deserves to have a relationship with Jesus.

Every Tribe. Every Tongue. Every Nation.

EVERY1

My mission is to see the name of Jesus preached to every tribe, every tongue, every nation, and EVERY1 across the globe. I believe that through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we can demonstrate the kingdom of God to the nations. Music has a big part to play in that vision

Everyone needs a mission statement. It keeps you centered as you travel throughout life. That’s why Jesus gave us the great commission. It’s our mission statement the moment that we are born again.

Mark 16:15 KJV
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

My mission is simple. I want to align with the mission statement Jesus gave us and go to the world with the gospel message.

The Bible says,

Hebrews 10:39 KJV

But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

That means there’s no shrinking back from this calling.

Some have missions to make millions in business or get married and have 2.5 kids or any number of other things.

I choose to set my goals higher. I’m going to “GO” for Jesus, and all those other things will show up in one form or another.

2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

My Verses

You can tell a lot about a person by the Bible verses that speak to them. These are just three of the top verses that drive me.

2 Corinthians 2:14

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

Psalms 40:3

And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

John 5:25

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

Music & Ministry

I never set out to be a “music artist”. In fact, I still don’t want to become that.

My goal is to write music that encapsulates the gospel message in its purest form so that “many shall see it, and fear, and trust in the Lord.” This was my goal long before I found this Bible verse and we’ll accomplish it by simply worshiping Jesus in spirit and in truth.

Psalms 40:3

And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

How it All Got Started

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 13, 1998

My mother spent the better part of 4 months sitting in a chair to ensure I survived my birth.

Up until recent years, I never even knew it. That’s the kind of home I was raised in.  My parents gave up everything for me and my brother and made it normal to do that.

The doctors said that I might not make it because of some complications in the pregnancy, but my mother spent the time speaking life over me instead.

Now I spend my life fulfilling what she confessed over me following God with all my heart.

Raised to Worship from a Young Age

It’s hard to describe the atmosphere that was in my home growing up. Looking back on it now I didn’t realize how uncommon our home life was.

Many evenings my brother and I would sit with our parents in the living room with toy instruments singing and praising God as a family. It wasn’t planned or staged. I would just grab my “guitar” and we’d start singing.

We used to stand on the hearth “leading worship” and preaching to the congregation of toys and stuffed animals in our living room.

As I grew up, I convinced myself these dreams were foolish and that I should get a “real job”, but as it turns out, you just cannot run from the call of God on your life.

It’s only been in recent years (after high school) that these desires deep inside of my heart have reawakened with a new passion.

Using my Faith for my First Real Guitar

I’ll be honest. There are very few things that stick out to me from my childhood with great clarity, but this is one of them.

I was 7 years old and in 2nd grade attending a school originally meant for children of missionary families on the field.

Knowing what you know about our family worship services, you can probably guess that I wanted to play guitar. I begged my parents to let me take lessons, but the teacher wouldn’t accept anyone until they were 8 years old.

In the meantime, I needed a guitar. One of the pastor’s kids I looked up to at the time had a blue acoustic guitar, and I remember telling my parents that I wanted one like it. To make a long story shorter, I’ll just say that I ended up praying and asking God for a guitar like it.

Shortly thereafter (and I will never forget this as long as I live) the pastor walked up to me and said, “God told us to give this to you.”

And with that, I was off. Every morning, every night, and many times in between, I would practice my guitar. I never did consider it “practicing”. I just wanted to play guitar.

My First Songs

As I tell these stories – I’ll be honest – I’ve never really considered these things to this degree until I sat down to write this story.

In fact, it wasn’t until 2-3 years ago that I woke up and recognized that I even have this psalmist gift.

If you aren’t familiar with that term, that’s alright. Most would call it a worship leader or songwriter, but if you’re familiar with Jerry Zirkle’s ministry, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

He was my mentor and I’m proud to say he claimed me as another grandkid, but even growing up around that gift, I didn’t recognize it in myself until later in life.

As a child, I would sit on my bedroom floor and read the Psalms and use them as the springboard to write new songs.

I knew intuitively that to write a new song, I needed to listen not to my head but to my heart. (I needed the Word of God in my heart so that it could come out of me in song form.)

Jerry Zirkle would often say, “You ought to be able to sing your sermons and preach your songs.” I saw firsthand how he was able to do that, and that very statement is the vision statement for how I want to write music.

The Release of my First Album TO DRY LANDS

(2021)

So now fast forward from my childhood to more recent years.

In 2020, I felt the Lord pulling me to put together an album. The thing is… that as I started the journey everything changed.

I had a few songs completed from various mission trips and years of worship, but I knew nothing.

The time on this page would fail me to tell of all the miraculous things that happened to bring me to people of amazing talent. They are God connections that extend beyond music and into ministry.

The TO DRY LANDS album is my heart put into song. It is my mission to go to EVERY TRIBE, EVERY TONGUE, EVERY NATION, and EVERY1 with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Song Overview:

  • Let It Be Known – I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.
  • Praise to Victory – I will praise my way past all the adversity and break the chains of bondage
  • Rains from Heaven – We will see the Holy Spirit fall on the nations
  • Agree – I will agree with what the Word of God says I am to be and fight the fight of faith to see it happen
  • There is a Name – The name of Jesus is the power and authority that we will use to change the nations
  • This Love  The love of Jesus is indescribable and has to be talked about to everyone we meet.
  • My Jesus – Jesus is the only way to salvation.

There’s a story behind every song, but that’s the 10-second explanation.

Where we’re going

Are the songs perfect in production? Probably not, but the heart behind them is unmistakable and I trust the Lord that His anointing is in His Word.

It’s the anointing that breaks the yoke of bondage over people’s lives, and it’s the anointing that will accomplish this mission.

Every tribe, every tongue, every nation, and EVERY1 – It really isn’t about me at all!

We aren’t going to accomplish this mission by might or by power. In fact, I’ve found that when you realize in your weakness you are made strong then you find that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

I hope my short story will inspire you to walk by faith and do the things you don’t feel capable of accomplishing. Try something new and follow the call of God in your life.

Be a witness in your life everywhere you go.

Go TO DRY LANDS in your community.

Preach the gospel to EVERY1.

And above all just rest in God’s plan for your life.

I encourage you to follow along as I do just that! Listen to my music and reach out to me on social media or via email. I would love to hear from you! You have a part to play in this mission.

Blessings,

Who is Jesus?

It seems wrong to talk in so many words about my life without telling you about Jesus.

The entire reason I’m even writing this today is because of Jesus.

I grew up in church. I never knew what it was like to not know about Jesus, but I know what it’s like to feel guilty and shameful because of sin.

If I didn’t know how to alleviate those feelings of guilt and get right with God, it would eat me alive inside. That’s why I’m writing this section.

Everyone has sinned. We can run away from it or try to justify it, but deep down on the inside of us, we know that it’s true. That sin creates a void in our life that forces us to try to do things to make up for our mistakes, but the truth is that there’s no possible way to do that.

We were created for a purpose, a mission, and a direction in life that cannot be altered, but this sin clouds us from seeing the truth.

Before anyone can begin their purpose, they have to start by getting right with God. Sin has to be dealt with otherwise it will always be hanging over us.

Jesus came to earth to deal with our sins. He willingly took the punishment for us so that you and I can be in right relationship with God.

The good news is that sin is already dealt with, but it’s your responsibility to tell God you want to accept his sacrifice.

The only thing left to do is say, “Jesus come into my heart.”

When you invite Him into your life, you are saying, “I want everything you have for me. I believe you died on the cross in my place so that I could be where ever you are.”

Just pray to God and ask Jesus to come into your heart.

When you do that pay attention to the inside of you, the emptiness is gone! That’s because sin has been dealt with in your life!
